Two thirds of the people looking forward to buy a house in Britain believe that they won't have an opportunity to buy a house as there are problems in obtaining a mortgage. The results of the survey conducted by National Centre for Social Research showed that only 5 % of the group was interested to buy a house.
One in every two of the 25 to 40 year olds surveyed were in the opinion that "Britain will become a nation of renters within the next generation". A report buy Halifax shows that the people looking forward to buy a house are finding difficulties because of rising house prices and reluctance of banks to lend loans for the people who want to buy a house for the first time.
